Our Story
LOCATED in YORK, PA, Bastille offers a broad range of fine imported French country antiques and furniture. The philosophy behind Bastille is that antiques should be represented in everyday life. At Bastille you will find a mix of affordably priced traditional pieces along with more casual items reflecting the rustic elegance of the French countryside. Each of Bastille’s pieces are imported directly from France by Marie-Noelle. Bastille’s collection includes a large selection of antiques and furniture from armoires, chevets, dining room and bedroom sets, kitchen tables, desks, chairs, chest of drawers and many decorative accessories. Periods in the collection include the XVIII to the XX centuries specializing in Louis XV, Louis XVI, and Louis Phillip styles. You will find a rich variety of solid wood pieces featuring oak, chestnut, cherry, walnut and mahogany. Bastille’s ambition is that each customer leaves feeling that they have acquired a very special piece. Like people, each piece is unique and has a specific history and story to tell, making for wonderful conversation. To that end, Bastille seeks to work with each individual customer to meet their specific needs and find the piece that is right for them. |
